At the urging of some of my friends and sisters and a nudge from God, I started a blog. Since everyone I know is imperfect it was important to me to write this blog in a non-religious, non-condemning fashion while sharing my faith, struggles, and teachings. I want to create a safe place where faith is displayed in a non-judgmental way. If anything it helps me to be a better Bible Teacher and Pastor… I have been an associate pastor at HFC for the last four years but now I am the pastor at Forward Ministries an outreach that focuses on small group teaching, this is something I love to do… I have also worked as a youth pastor for seven years and currently rotate teaching at a local rehab facility for youth struggling with addiction, this is where my heart stays- empowering the next generation for the Lord. I have my B.A. in Biblical Studies and I am currently working on my Masters of Divinity in Theology. I am married, have three kids, three dogs and two cats. My English bulldogs have their own Instagram page called the thug chronicles… I hope this blog takes out the religious barrier and brings you closer to God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit- all of whom I believe in.
